Lydian is excited to once again bringing back the popular weekend Concerto Workshop format, where conductors and soloists have the chance to rehearse and possibly perform a piece/concerto movement and composers can showcase a work that they have composed.

SOLOIST: Xinge (GRACE) Dong—Piano

The orchestra looks forward to performing with pianist Grace Dong at our 2023 Winter Concert. Grace is the winner of the most recent Sevenoaks Young Musician of the Year Competition. She will perform Franz Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1.

Lydian also welcomes back past players for a celebratory evening of musical fireworks, including some well-loved themes from Ralph Vaughan Williams and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.
